rpsinc
Just a note to let folks here know that there are many fires burning in Southern California. The winds gusted to 85MPH yesterday and fires started in areas around Los Angeles. Resources are extended severely but winds a much less today, although forecast is for them to increase tonight. Parts of 405 and 210 freeways are closed. Ventura County has a fire that started in Santa Paula and has grown to 65,000+ acres and is north of Ventura along the 101 at the Pacific Ocean. Much like weather that came through SE US states earlier this year. I can only imagine the feelings! Marcel
Ray,IN
Today there was a segment on the news where WAZE was directing drivers onto a freeway to escape the fires, but that freeway was already closed. bob91yj
We are staying at Champagne Lakes in north San Diego county. The Lilac fire got within one ridgeline and jumping I-15 of getting to us. We were without electricity for a day and a half, other than that, no issues. Since we live in a trailer, the lack of shore power was not that big of a deal.
