Hi all,

I ran across this great photo on Facebook and thought you would like all the photos on the website.  https://randybeacham.photoshelter.com/index/G0000ZXRjg8Dr07U

This was the one I liked best.   lhGihiMl.jpg   I have not been to Montana yet but someday.

We’re planning a trip there next year with the rig.  When’s the best time of year to be in that area?

July is very nice.  Lots of places to see in Montana.  Lewis and Clark caverns, The Mining museum in Butte, Glacier National Park and Custer Battlefield [one of my favorite places]. Just to name a few. If you are coming from the east, The Black hills are not far away. Just don't be there during the Sturgis motorcycle rally.

  • 4 weeks later...

Missoula newspaper had a pretty interesting article a couple weeks ago.  Kenworth hauled the national tree from the same spot clear back in 1958, but back then the tree went from truck to rail to truck again.  She's a little different than a bunch of cranes and a wrapped T680 w/ extending flatbed.  I think they had to start loading it in February to get it there in time! :D
