lockmup68
For those that use a macerator pump hard mounted, how does the washer drain work? On my Teton, the washer does not drain into the gray tank, but direct to the discharge tube. How would the macerator pump work in this situation? thanks, Shannon 2003 International Eagle 9200i, Cummins ISX, Freedomline 2007 Teton Scottsdale XT4
Devilishjim
The water will freeflow through the macerator pump as long as nothing floats in to obstruct the discharge and if the discharge hose is lower than your rv. If you have a grey water tank open then the water can back into that tank Jim Spence 2000 Dodge 3500 1 ton QC 4x4 dually 5.9 diesel LB BD exhaust brake, 6 spd manual trans 34CKTS Cedar Creek 5er, Trail-Air hitch
Jack Mayer
I have a bypass built around my macerator. So I leave the grey open, black closed and the bypass open. This is normal operation, and the water flows around. To macerate the black I simply close the bypass and the grey and open the macerator shutoff....
