heavyduty
Back sometime ago I believe nuke posted a wireing diagram to wire a smart for taillights for flat towing. Does anyone recall that and if so have it. I did not find it in resource guide

heavyduty
Nuke I am working on a 453. After pulling the taillights out to install the diode's the wires are very small and are like a ribbon cable. Be difficult to splice in . I have wired the diode's on several other cars and never had a problem. This one makes me nervous.
Av8r3400
Why not add a second 1157 bulb to each tail light for towing only use? The "old school" method... heavyduty
That would be the answer but there is not enough room in taillight housing .
Wrknrvr
How about using strip LEDs, in place of the 1157. Same idea , but smaller space required for the lights. I used them on our Teton. It took a little figuring, but they work. Just a thought. Vern
heavyduty
The LED strips may be a good idea. Thanks
