Stanley, Id options?

Staying two nights at Glacier View, would like to boondock additional nights along the river. Permitted? Best options?

Traveling in 40' motorhome, minimal boondocking experience.

OP:  Here's a great national forest service campground site that we used all the time with our 40' MH.  In Stanley we stayed at Sunny Gulch campground - very nice.

There are campground all along the river from Stanley to Salmon.  There are also BLM areas and fishing access spots you can stay.  Enjoy! It's a favorite area of ours.... and good fishing!

If you head west out of Stanley toward Grand Jean there is a really nice little forest campground called Lola Creek. You may be to long but I was there a few years ago with a 30' travel trailer and was able to get in. That is a beautiful area

My brother lives in Rexburg. He told me it is supposed to start snowing tonigh in Idaho. It may be cold boondocking.
