Kickapoo Caverns State Park

Recommended Posts

Ok to answer my own question. We pulled into Kickapoo Caverns this month. It has only been open since 2010 and only has a few full hook up spots. Its pretty remote and they close the gate during the week. So you need reservation if your going to come in any time other than the week end. Nice park lots of hiking trails and caves. 20 miles to a convince store, Brackettville, and 50 miles to Walmart in Del Rio. We are here through Feb. Let is know if you come by and check this place out.

Still seeing Places we have never seen before and others that we thought we would never see again!

Hope you enjoy your stay there.  It is in the middle of no where, but a beautiful in its own way.  We spent March there 2012 or 2013 if I remember correctly. Great place to get away from everything, no TV, cell phone ( unless you go to the top of hills/ mts) Tell,  Alan and everyone, Chuck & Debra Johnson said HI.

  1. Alan says to tell you they have brush cutting machines here now. We been here for two months now and other than the remoteness the work has been really laid back.
