Phil Posted June 27, 2017 Report Share Posted June 27, 2017 Hi everyone, My 4way anderson valve leaks water into my tank when it is on city, tank then overflows. Chad Heiser Posted June 28, 2017 Report Share Posted June 28, 2017 If you call Anderson, they have a simple repair kit to replace the seal inside the valve. It has been discussed several times recently on a DRV forum in which I participate. It could be done but just what it will take depends on where your freshwater tank is located and what sort of access you have to the outside wall near it. If I were going to make such a change, I'd just remove the combination valve and install two valves, one to the water system and a second one to fill the water tank. Most of the early RVs with the tank fill did have a separate valve for that purpose. Doing that would probably be less work than what you have in mind.
