Electrical Issue

Recommended Posts

Our motorhome is a 2014 THour Miramar. On our last trip, I noticed voltage drop whenever the motorhome was not connected to shore power or running off the generator, including when the rig was running. I have checked the circuit breakers and fuses. Any ideas?

More details would really help.  120V or 12V voltage drop?  How much of a drop?  Provide as many details as you can come up with.

BTW, there should be no difference between shore power and generator power.  Both provide 120V to the MH.

Now when the rig is running, the engine alternator could be providing 12V power to the house batteries.  Some Mfg wire their rigs to do that, others don't.
