Engine repairs and where do you live?

Maybe a silly question, but here goes.....anyone needed an engine repair that was more than a couple hours, and where did you live during this repair time? As I contemplate a C vs sticking with a TT, these questions come up in my head....this living issue wouldn't be one if I didn't travel with three birds and a dog, but I'm not changing that....thanks.

When we were fulltiming in our Class A DP, we stayed in the rig, usually plugged in at the shop when day's work was done. Whether inside the shop bay or out depended on what was being done. Luckily, all our repairs allowed the rig to be backed out of the bay and plugged in, often with water until work resumed next day. We only had one dog and stayed in the customers' lounge most of the day with occasional walks for the pup.
