Hate the taste of coffee but love the pickup? Tired of the pretentiousness of foreign misused words to denote size and standing in line?

Thanks. I think I'm going to buy some of these to put in my bugout bag. Those mints look very portable as well as being decent breath fresheners which I'd probably need as much as the caffeine in a true bugout situation.

Think I'll stay with coffee. Why mess with a good thing?

2007 Arctic Fox 32.5 rls for full-timing, now sold.

2014 Sunnybrook Sunset Creek 267rl for the local campgrounds now that we are off the road
2007 Silverado 2500 diesel

I don't like coffee but, even if I did, have you ever tried to pack it in your suitcase or bugout bag? Nowadays you can't even bring your soft drink into the airport. So, some caffeinated mints appeal to me--better than having a caffeine withdrawal headache while trying to deal with an emergency evacuation.

Well I'm sorry for those with heart or ear issues that cannot imbibe caffeine like I do. They have also found it is beneficial to our health over and over in coffee. I have all my 63 years of life, drank a lot of coffee from about age 12 on, through a 27 year military career, 7 years of fulltiming, and now off the road caring for our last remaining parent for the last 13 years when there were two to start, I have drunk an average of two 12 cup pots a day. MY BP is 120 over 60-70, and no diabetes or other issues except for frame issues with neck and back from an over active life of skiing, diving military life. I think they are neat ideas. But I don't do "energy drinks," opioid pain meds, sleeping or waking pills, and coffee is a beverage of choice for me, I do not get the jitters my wife does and others. I even chain smoked for 45 years or so. So I know I won't be rushing out for them. But if I run across them I will try them out. Oh I do have GERD and take a Nexium daily along with 500mg Naproxin Sodium twice a day for my skeletal/neural issues. So I can eat anything without heartburn.

However, you have to admit that there appears to ne an industry that caters to younger folks trying to be more energetic.

Wow!,

Me too. I don't have to stop drinking coffee at a certain time. When I go to bed I read for about one page at most before I turn off the Kindle and I'm out like a light a few seconds after my head hits the pillow. No apnea here but glad they have a treatment for you.

Yeah I quit a three pack a day habit in 2010. It was one pack from age 12-30, then 2 packs 30-40, and went to 3 pack a day by retirement from the military and going full time at 45. I'm 63 now. Quitting the smokes was tough and I stayed on nicotine patches for a year. I also decided to quit drinking beer and alcohol because I could not drink beer and not smoke, big trigger for me. Stopping beer was no big deal as I was over it the next day. But the first six months of not smoking were tough. I substituted starlite mints and gained 50 pounds 30 of which I lost and need to start getting serious about dieting again. My wife still smokes outside and drinks inside. I got her a vape mod kit and she uses it only occasionally. I'm glad they did not have them when I quit because I would still be hooked on nicotine, but not sick and coughing in the morning as none of the toxins from burning leaves are in it. The London Medical society's research gave Vaping a clean bill of health too as not causing problem of its own. I am now glad to just be done with smoking.

Quit coffee? Not no, but hell no!

Tom,
Good for you! I'll wait 20 years and then reassess my position on beer at 84. ;)
