Replace dinette seats with automotive seats?

Has anyone here replaced their dinette bench seats with automotive seats? Saw a Solara in Quartzsite where the owner had done that mod and it looked like a very comfortable seating arrangement.

Just wanted to ask questions of someone who has done it.

We did the opposite in our Prevost Royale, very happy.

Prefer the stationary dinette vs automotive seats or separate chairs and table.

At 300+ lbs I don't fit into many restaurant dinettes let alone those itty-bitty ones in Class C's. So I pulled out the dinette in my '99 Jayco and replaced it with two office chairs. They turn, raise up and down and recline. It worked so well that when I traded the Jayco in on a new '15 Itasca, I told them that if they wanted to sell me the rig, they'll have to pull out the dinette as a condition of sale. My only requirement was that it had to have a flat floor where the dinette originally sat. They did - I bought and couldn't be happier. Bought my chairs at Staples for $65.00 each on sale.
