sailwing2003
Yes, an interesting read. Standing out to me, is the next year's family out of pocket maximum of $14,300. That is only about $1,191 per month, like a second house payment, or two more car payments. And that is added of course to the cost of their monthly premiums. But anything might be better than last year. As we were researching our options, we found, no consistency between the insurance companies list of providers and what our providers were saying, if they knew yet. We did not get straight answers even up to the deadlines for enrollment dates. Each call got us different answers to the same questions. We had one Dr. tell us he would get us the correct person who would know, and that took his office 3 weeks, at the UT Southwestern Medical school in Dallas. We were each assigned our PCP, and her's was 9 miles north, and mine was 22 miles east. And this was in the DFW area, of 6 million people, and countless hospitals and Dr. groups in almost every one of the 100+ cities in the DFW area. And our zip code puts in in the center of a city of over 400,000 people, half way between Ft. Worth and Dallas.
