I am a Blue Knight, but I am on the west coast. Might be a little hard to get together for a ride.

1975 , i was the part of the last class to go thru Ft. Gordon,Ga. At that time The Marines took MP School with us, not sure if they still do.

I was later assigned to 759th MP BN, 532nd MP Co. Ft. Dix, i learned few yrs ago. 532nd was disban by gov. an 759th was then sent to Ft. Carson, CO.

I maintain all chapter sites, another webmaster takes care of our national site, http://defendersmc.com/

We have chapters tip of maine to bottom of florida, an all way out to CO an Iowa.

I'm current LEO. Past member 1139th MPCO. Missouri National Guard. Did my training at Ft. McClellan. Active duty and summer vacations were spent at Ft. Riley and Ft. Hood.

MP school has moved here to Missouri at Fort Leonard Wood along with the Chemical School. When I was at Ft. McClellan in 1982 the Marines did not go through MP School there. One of the Marines said it was because the Army had to much field training in A.I.T. The Marine MPs already had a lot of field training by then.

I also ride but not in any formal group.

Pleased to meet you.

Mark from Missouri

I enlisted in 1975 and did basic training at Fort Jackson, SC. I was in one of the first MP classes at Fort McClellan back in early 1976. We had both Army and Marines in our class. I spent part of my active duty time at Fort McClellan and USMA West Point. In the reserves I was in the 160th MP BN, 345 MP CO.

Like mds1, I ride a small Honda, but do not belong to any organizations.

roger, what state you in?

We are in Florida. We decided to stay on our lot in Hardee County while dealing with some medical issues this year. Hopefully this will be our last summer in the heat and we can stay here in the winters as originally planned.
