Just wondering if anyone is staying there right now and how full the park is.

Looking to overnight there tonight if possible. However although their website says the office is open everyday, the phone message says only Monday through Friday.

The office is only open m-f. Although the park has some lots with no one on them, they are likely not in the rental pool. The Full sign is not out, yet, though. The annual meeting was just held and today is the last day of the COHO days week of activities so things may be getting better in a few days but I can't say about today. Earlier is better unless reservations have already been taken.

I am pretty sure the dry camping area is still pretty open but those sites are shorter so some odd parking may be involved.

Sorry I can't be of better help.

I just checked up at the office and all rental sites are occupied or reserved. Lots of empty pull thru Dry camp spots, though.

Thanks Bud, we are set up at the Elks for the night. Really only need Electricity and 30 amp will do just fine for the night. Just got back from dinner at the Chimacum Cafe, Prime Rib and it was excellent. Actually drove through Evergreen and saw several open spots, maybe next trip.

Yeah. We are in 538 with the red Volvo HDT and the white Smart car. I think you may have paused IN front of us.

Surprisingly, not that many lease holders put their sites in the rental pool. Many have homes or relatives within a hundred miles or so and pop in and out of here quite whimsically. Rental sites require a 7 day notice by a returning lease holder.

Over weekends they.post a list of the open rental sites (1 - 20) on a whiteboard on the office exterior.

Some leaseholders do not put their lots into the rental pool as they have items stored in their shed that require climate control (heat/humidity) or are running a freezer or fridge.

Leasehold site renters are charged a flat rate plus electricity and if the Leaseholder is also using the electricity, a charge could not be made to the renter (separating electric usage).

The casino at Blyn (Sequim) is pretty empty right now. 30A is now available FREE at 3 vacant sites. Spent a week at the fairgrounds in Port Townsend, supposedly setup for 2 "campers" to share a 20A breaker in a field, only $20 !
