Always used to be but has been a long time. 2019 Thor Chateau 28E on a Ford E450 chassis. Maybe awhile but will get a new picture forgive one up there it is my old rig. You are correct about Kali (ususally) being higher than any other state - except Hawaii. Stanton is a "low rent" city = pretty good prices, however $2.69 can be found in more upscale areas also. *IF* you are going out of CA soon - check prices for OR, NV & AZ in advance. For CA - or any state, - go to gas buddy (be sure to select diesel), enter zip or city name. Very accurate for my favorite (handy - best price) sta in So. Orange County - 2.69 for diesel, 3.79 for regular. Actually surprised the stations haven't jacked up diesel prices to something closer to regular - "just because". . Seems to me that 3.78541 times $.99/Litre is $3.7475559 per gallon, unless there is something strange about a Canadian liter (Litre) besides the spelling!
