August 15-16, in Red Deer. We're not sure if we're going yet, but if there's enough interest, we'll be there.

Link isn't working off phone. Go to Pro-trucker.com, then Big-rig weekend

I have been wrong before, I'll probably be wrong again.

Link. $50 covers 2 steak suppers on Sat. night, assuming 2 participants are present when registration is completed, dash plaque, certificate of participation, and a free year subscription to the magazine.

As of today, it looks like I might be able to make it. However in my world the best laid plans of mice and men, usually have a habit of going a stray

Mmm, I like Jello. Seriosly, though, it took Rita a looong time to get used to 'patch life. She may be just pretending, to keep living the lifestyle in which she'd like to become accustomed.

We're in Westerner overflow now in RD.

Having some electrical issues with the Suites. Not sure if it's the EMS or the Magnum inverter or a combination. Hope I can maybe get that fixed this coming week then head west a week from Monday.

Bummer.....the weather forecast looks less than ideal for the weekend. I think I'm going to take a rain check, unless of course the forecast changes, which is quite possible here in Alberta

Bunch of really nice trucks. Still cold and it just started to rain. Should have entered the 780. It looks as nice as some of the others trucks there. Oh well.

Will do. We're back in BC finally at the Revelstoke KOA. Kelowna tomorrow to get the ailing Magnum inverter looked at.

Looks like we'll almost pass. I'm at the Bridal falls water park tomorrow night then up toward Juniper beach if I can get in. Kamloops Volvo on Monday to switch out shifters and have another crack at the failing AC unit again.

I had docs ready but were not called for at Sidney yesterday on the 4pm.

Lol. I ended up on Westside Rd on Lake Okanogan. Fascinating trip, but not for the faint hearted. Endless chain of 30 kph corners. IPS will change out the Inverter board this afternoon in Kelowna. Currently at La Casa resort having lunch on the deck overlooking the lake. Satisfactory.

Glad to hear no ferry problems. I think our turn will be 4pm Saturday.

Got on the 4pm ferry from Vancouver today.

We are 67' long by official measurement today and crossed for a hair under $200 which is a stunningly good deal!! No hassles from the very nice lady. Showed my registration with MH as body type and no RGVW and we were good to go.
