Choices for cell and wifi - for remote booning

My internet connection story evolves. Im presently in a semi remote area, but get 2 bars of 3G without using my Wilson Sleek booster and antennae. That allows me a slow to medium internet connection. When I use my booster, the jetpack signal goes down to 0-1 bars and internet connection is mostly lost. I talked to Wison about this, and they said if you are getting an adequate signal, it's best not to boost, as you boost competing signals also. That all seems strange to me. Also, my jetpack and phone are both 4G, but switch to 3 G with low signal. My Wilson booster and antennae are 3G. The long and short is the Wilson booster doesnt seem to be helping, and I'm wondering which direction to go.
