Going to the airport early and had to SCRAPE hard ICE off the windshield this morning.

Jeri,

I was thinking that moving from the "lowlands" was a mistake...Apparently, it didn't matter! The "Rooster" is ice covered this a.m. Come on sun!!

Sure glad to see we moved the right way. Cold in the morning but that's all. Today no wind at all and bright sunshine. Supposed to be high 60's today and high 70's by Friday.

C'mon back.

We seem to be stuck in Q - and that is all Good - Well - sort of :

Mike ordered a computer and when it arrived it did not work - so now we are waiting on a replacement. Then I planned a trip to Florida using air miles - by the time I arranged the eye Dr appt for Mike === the price of tickets for flying went up $200 each plus all our miles- Good thing we plan in jello - now we will hang in Arizona til April then onto Denver- and will fly to Florida for Mike's eye surgery from there.

Pa and Di showed up after the boot camp which of course leads to more campfires, food and stories!!!

Plus we drove to Yuma and saw Freddie and Dulcie - fun time in Mexico and at the casino!!

We got a dusting of that white stuff last night also. This mornimg it had all turned to Ice. This afternoon it was beautiful but only got up to 54. After all this cold stuff, Hell don't sound so bad. Took two walks today. My energy level is coming back slowly.

Shiver my timbers it got to 16 last night. My last tank of LP only lasted 4 days. But on the bright side it did get up to 57 this afternoon thats 3 degrees better than yesterday so we are gaining on it. Now all I have to do is wait a few weeks so I can start complaining about it being too HOT.

I took my laundry over to the landerette this morning to have them wash and fold them. When I went back to pick them up at 3PM they were not done. The lady said I had requested hypoalergenic soap and they didn't have any but expected I'd have put my soap bottle in the bag with the clothes. I never have before. So back to the park to get my soap and take it back to them. I hope I have some clean duds by tomorrow morning. I'm going to have to learn to give everyone the third degree every time I hire someone to do something for me. I sould have done them myself here at the park. We have a very nice laundry here in the park and it's cheep.

Well we did have to scrape ice off the windshield yesterday morning but I doubt very much it got down to 16!! Terry had his check up today in Portland and 3 years now and still cancer free!! Yippee ..Woot Woot

I'm thinking he'll be back tomorrow night or maybe Friday. However, then, I'm also thinking I'm going to head to Portland if my aunt lasts that long. Her sons are in California and it appears that's where they are going to stay. :(

I'm at Craggy Wash north of Lake Havasu City parked next to Doug & Toni. We've been making deals. I buy ingredients and Toni cooks. Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, potatoes, carrots, and ice cream the first night. Ribs with hand cut French fries and pumpkin pie the second night. Lasagna with Caesar salad and carrot cake tonight. And I get to take home some of the leftovers! I keep walking around singing, "Heaven, I'm in Heaven."

We are thinking that WE need to park next to Toni and Doug! They had us to supper one night in Quartzsite, so we know she is a good cook... but, such a deal! I would be happy to buy the ingredients and make a similar arrangement. Toni... this may be a good way to suppliment your income :) You are one smart cookie, Linda! Enjoy!

I was thinking I wanted to park next to Toni too. I'd buy the food if she'd cook for us every night too! What a deal we had and we didn't know it. Lucky Linda! :D
