Description: White, 2006 Subaru Outback 2.5i, AWD, 5-speed Manual Transmission, 49,871 original miles, seats 5. Blue Ox baseplate installed - ready to tow. All Subaru Recall work has been completed. Non-smoker Asking Price: NADA retail price is $9,737, but the Blue Ox baseplate should bump the price up about $1,000. I'm asking $9,999 cash or OBO. I'm located in Hacienda Heights, CA. Contact Information: bbent3333 at HotMail dot com. Located in Hacienda Heights, CA I bought this car second hand 11/11/08 with 40,318 miles on it. I bought it to tow behind a Class A on a trip to Alaska. I had a Blue Ox baseplate installed and wired up for taillights/brakes and a Brake Buddy connection. It worked beautifully. I'm selling it because my wife doesn't drive anymore and we don't need 2 cars anymore. Here are some of the things that make this car a great toad! Low mileage (only 49,871 miles) Blue Ox baseplate, wiring for tail/brake lights and cable for Brake Buddy already installed. Light weight tow - only 3320 pounds Car is in very good condition and has never been in a wreck. All-Wheel-Drive with great ground clearance - 8.4 inches. Take it anywhere. Almost new four Michelin Primacy MXM4 High Performance 225/55R17 97V tires installed (installed at 48,701, presently 49,838, so only 1,137miles). Regular gasoline (I get 20-22 MPG Town, ~25 MPG highway) Options/Features:Blue Ox baseplate Full size spare (BF Goodrich g-Force Sport 225/55R17, never been used) and MasterFlow O-Max 12V air compressor (original donut spare available, too) Keyless remote entry Auto-dimming mirror/compass with 3 Homelink garage door opener buttons Retractable privacy shield to cover cargo area After-market Alpine iDA-X001 Digital Media Receiver (MP3 and USB playback). Heated front seats Subaru cargo mat Negative Information: Some road rash on front of car - caused by gravel tossed up during towing Small piece of plastic spoiler on right-rear spoiler broken off (small rock from towing lodged into crack between body and hatch caused damage when hatch was opened after towing). Small cigarette burn on left-rear passenger seat (present when I purchased car. There has been no smoking in the car since I have owned it). The windshield has a repaired, small rock-ding about two tenths of an inch in diameter. The 2006 Outback is a great car and there are very few around with a manual transmission, which is required for towing 4-flat. There are even fewer '06 Outbacks available with mileage this low. Just put in your Brake Buddy (or equiv), connect your tow bar and cables and you're ready to tow. Maintenance records are available. To the best of my knowledge, everything is functional on the car. Thanks for your interest.
