  1. Pullrite SuperGlide 2900 18k Slider 5th-Wheel HitchI bought this hitch in March of 2017 for my 2014 Ford F250 Super Duty PowerStroke Diesel to hook up a Keystone Montana. I found that the F250 was simply too light of a truck to stop the Montana, so I just switched to a dually long bed. I no longer need a slider hitch. I towed the Montana for a total of about 1,000 miles, and removed the hitch before trading in the F250. Asking $650.00 -- make a reasonable offerThis hitch is in excellent condition, and includes all hitch parts and the capture plate for the trailer. It does NOT include the rails for the truck. We are currently parked at Escapees in Livingston, TX. Due to the weight of this hitch, you'll most likely need to come pick it up. Reply if you want photos...
  2. We will be picking up our new 42' 5th wheel in a couple weeks. I currently have a B&W fifth wheel but it is not a slider. After doing some calculations I think that I will be able to jack knife the trailer to appx 80--82 degrees safely without the trailer running into the truck. With that in mind I would like to ask those of you with experience if that is good enough or should I spend the $1500 or so for a slider? I have read on other RV forums of people stating they have sliding 5th wheels but have never used the sliding feature. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Kelly
  3. We just took possession of a tandem axle 2013 T660 with the 86" studio sleeper. Truck specs are : Paccar mx13 485 hp/1650 torque 18 speed manual double overdrive 3.55 rears with lockers 12k fronts and 40k rears Front air suspension 244" wheelbase 22.5" tires We are Hauling a 44' XLR Thunderbolt 21,000 lb I got my class 1 license when I was 18, 28 years ago...after a couple of years as a long haul driver I went back to school and became a structural engineer and kept my CDL all this time planning to get an HDT RV. Took a while but better late than never! We don't go to campsites at all we just camp on BLM land with the dirt bikers or kananaskis country near calgary area rockies. When I drove commercial it was volvo 610's and freightliner FL120's mainly some internationals too Never rode a truck with a front air ride so I was pleasantly surprised it rides as good or better even than my ram 1 ton dually on beat up gravel roads and with tires fully inflated for commercial loads to boot. The long wheelbase has lots to do with it I figure This is going to be a lot of fun! Looking forward to sharing and learning with you all I'll post some pics over the weekend Cheers
  4. We had a wierd thing happen when returning from a rally. Nothing like this has ever happened in all our years of rving. We had stopped at a Walmart outside of Salt Lake City. When we were leaving the store heading back to the trailer we saw an older man walking closely alongside the trailer heading towards the rear. He crossed the rest of the parking lot & climbed into an 18 wheeler. We pulled slowly out of the parking lot then accelerated hard to pull into traffic. All of a sudden we heard a loud bang and the trailer jerked hard backwards. When we pulled over to see what had happened we found the slider handle was now in the unlocked position and the hitch had slid to the rear about a foot. As this had NEVER happened before we suspect a dangerous prank? Coincidence? ummmm.
  5. Curt Q20 5th wheel hitch with slider. Used one time. Excellant condition. All reasonable offers considered.
  6. SOLD- I have a slightly used B&W companion slider 5th wheel hitch for sale. Rated for 18k lbs and is removable when not in use. It has been stored in garage when not use and requires the B&W turnover ball system for use.
