  1. So, my dad is selling his motor home. It's a 2000 Winnebago Adventurer, 32 foot, with a living room slide out, Class A, Gasoline, with approx 110,000 miles on it. It is currently at a storage facility in Georgetown, TX. If you are interested in looking at it or purchasing it, please email my dad at ayers.bob@gmail.com, or me at jayers@prismnet.com He has taken meticulous care of it when he was using it, but has not used it in a few years, and at 87, is just not able to keep driving it. He just put a brand new battery in it, and it runs fine, just needs an inspection. It's in pretty good shape, but here is the disclosure list from him: -Exterior body damage to left rear ( I looked, it's a small, cosmetic thing, but pics to come) -Tires may/may not need replacement because of age/dry-rot -Roof needs refinishing and caulking around all items (not leaking, just a regular maintenance issue for it's age) -Windshield and all windows need re-caulking/sealant (same thing: no leaks, just maintenance) -Coach A/C cooling questionable -Annual safety inspection due and may show additional problems He's kept it at a storage facility, under a roof, since he hasn't been using it, and I went and cleaned it out, but left all the bed linens, and tools/extra parts specific to it's maintenance for the next owner. It looks great, but the carpets could use a shampoo...no visible stains, just regular dirt from foot traffic. Other than a rug shampoo, it's super clean, especially considering it's age. Can send more pics if you contact one of us. We are looking to get $12K, OBO
  2. Must sell our 1998 Country Coach Intrigue with great room slide. Only 123,000 miles. Strong 325hp Cummins diesel, 6 speed Allison, new tires, washer/dryer, satellite, lots of extras, lots more photos available, questions welcome. Call 817-901-5900 cell. $29,500.
  3. Selling our 31' artic fox travel trailer. Its been a great trailer for us, I just don't need this much trailer anymore. Large living room slide, queen bed, 2 fantastic fans, with rain sensors. Trailer also comes with a completely rebuilt Hensley Arrow hitch. Power front jack and four stabilizer jacks. 4 recent tires, all systems work, Located in Robertsdale Alabama Do not need help selling..cash sale only.
  4. The 2 shear pins on my long slide both broke last fall. Fortunately, they broke at the end of an “in” movement. This was after a period of very slow opening and especially closing with a loud “clunk” at the beginning of moving in-or out. The slide always appeared aligned at the start and finish of each movement. I replaced the 2 pins and lubricated the slide racks again. The slide mechanism seems to work well with about 20 uses or so since then. The movement is still slow and the “clunks” persist. I am afraid the pins will break again and it won’t be so easy next time. Since “misalignment” seems to be a common slide problem, I have an appointment next week to have the RV looked at in a local shop since we are parked for a couple of weeks. Can you help me with any suggestions, or what I might expect? Thanks, Rob
  5. Upon a pre-purchase inspection of a used but low mileage 2014 Fleetwood Bounder 33C today I discovered that the large living area slide made a very loud pop when it was retracted. Looking at the bottom exterior of the extended slide I saw a minor indention in the seal at the middle (from front to back). The seller, a small dealer with no service department who took the Bounder on a trade-in told me it was fixable. I will be a full timer using a Bounder for a significant amount of boondocking and am concerned about even a "repaired" slide might be a chronic problem. Can a slide problem of this nature be reliably fixed? In the event it turned out to be a chronic problem, can anyone assign a cost estimate to a reliable repair? Thanks for you input, Robert Guild
