  1. 1995 Georgie Boy Swinger - 34 ft Approx. 78,0000, Gas engine $24,900 for the RV, $5,500 for the toad We are moving to Italy and so we’re selling our completely remodeled RV and Mazda 3 tow vehicle. We’ve been traveling around full time all over the US since July and really enjoyed this motorhome. Despite it’s older looking exterior, the inside is bright and brand new, very spacious and super comfortable! We have upgraded so many things on this RV including a new roof, all new appliances, and a motorized flat screen TV, to name a few. Message me for more photos and I will be happy to email them to you. The list of upgrades is extensive: Kitchen: We built a larger kitchen area that is more conducive for cooking, with additional cabinets and counter space, a residential sink and all new appliances: residential fridge/freezer, gas cooktop and hood, a microwave convection oven, and even a dishwasher. Portable washing machine stores under kitchen counter and works perfect for small loads. Bathroom: We installed a new larger tub/shower combo, new sink and countertop, and new tankless propane hot water heater. Some Interior Upgrades Include: Laminate flooring throughout, new hybrid memory foam and spring queen sized mattress, Max fan in bedroom, upgraded water pump, upgraded LED lights inside & out, and added heat and noise barrier insulation and carpet to the doghouse. Some Major Exterior Upgrades Include: New roof, large awning, air lifts for a smoother ride, tire pressure monitoring system, and spare tire mounted underneath. TV’s: 50” 4K HDR Amazon Fire flat screen smart tv that is mounted on a motorized lift, housed inside a cabinet, blueray DVD player, and a 2nd TV in the bedroom. Radio/Navigation/Cameras: 7” android radio with front & back cameras, new side and center speakers. Generator: New Champion inverter generator with remote start, less than 500 hours on it, 3 yr warranty. Misc: Leveling jacks & steps are electric. Both dash A/C and central A/C blow nice and cold. Both heaters in the living area and bedroom are propane and work great. No slideouts = less things that break! Storage: Tons of storage including a pantry, linen closet, large under bed storage, lots of storage cabinets and drawers in the bedroom and throughout the RV, and large storage compartments on the outside. General Maintenance: new spark plugs and wires, new ignition coil, new serpentine and ac belts, new brake master cylinder, recharged dash AC, and resealed windows. Cat Things: We created a step down into one of the storage compartments below for the litter box with entry under the booth, and a hiding spot in the bedroom that allows them access in and out if the bedroom door is closed. Tow Vehicle: 2009 Mazda 3, Manual transmission, 126K miles, owned since it was brand new, meticulously maintained with documentation. Blue Ox plate installed for towing. New: A/C compressor, serpentine belts, engine mounts, all 4 struts, front tie rods and lower arm suspension, head lights & fog lights.

  3. Right now we have a Class A Winnebago Adventurer with a 50 amp service which runs everything plugged in or with the generator. We are thinking of buying a Jayco Altante 31V which is a smaller RV 32' but only has a 30 amp service. It has two 11,000 btu air conditioners and want a convection/microwave installed as well. Will the 30 amp run both airs and the convention over at the same time? Will it only run one air at a time? The sales people say yes, but we all know how that goes. I can't find anything on it really. We have been full-time since 2002 and our RV is breaking down and want to trade for a smaller. The Alante drives nice and love the floor plan, but the 30 amp is a concern. Also will a Ford V10 320 HP engine have trouble going up hills while pulling a car?
  4. We have decided to downsize since we are traveling part time. So, we are selling our 2011 Monaco Monarch 33 SFS with 25K miles on the engine. This is a Class A, 34-foot Gas Coach, Ford V10, with one full bath with shower. 6 brand new tires driven approx 1600 miles (approx $4500 value) It has an electric fireplace/heater in addition to the propane fired furnace. 2 AC units with heat pumps. 2 TVs on the inside 3-way refrigerator with an ice maker. Plenty of outside storage with pass through. Full body paint. Convection microwave. The dining area has 2 chairs instead of a dinette. Great vehicle for boondocking with a 5500W Onan generator installed. Upgraded window awnings. Fiberglass Roof. Stored under cover most of its life in a barn. Heated tanks, mirrors, and double pane windows. Pictures will not load for some reason...but video walkthrough below. Happy to send pictures if needed of any area of the coach! This is a great RV! asking $64,500 OBO mlisau@gmail.com
  5. I'm considering upgrading my gas model to a diesel for longer trips and have found a few models which fit some of my criteria but they are from a company I'm not familiar with. The company name is THOR. The particular model I'm seeing is a Serrano and it has an International MaxxForce 7 Turbo Diesel... Any feedback on either Thor or this particular diesel would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  6. We purchased a 2002 Winnebago Brave from a private seller near Houston, TX and, unknown to us, it has a lot of electrical problems. We are fairly new to full time rving, a long way from home (upstate New York) and don't know who to trust as the repair shop that already did some work for us made the situation worse instead of better. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  7. Our RV has less than 9 inches of clearance in the front. Since we purchased it, we put about 2,000 miles (4,400 total) on it. One day while pulling into the driveway of a RV park, we heard an extremely loud noise, as if the frame of the RV was dragging against the ground. When we looked, we were not high-centered. Instead, the right front wheel was rubbing the inside the wheel-well. In order for us to get into our RV spot, we had to drive extremely slow and back up several times in order to the RV in the proper position. The next day when it was light out, we notice how little of ground clearance we have in the front. Additionally, when looking at the wheel well on both the drive and passager front, the wheel well sits lower than the top of the tire. No one has been able to identify the problem yet. It has been very challenging to get help with this issue There is something seriously wrong with our RV (probably suspension) ANYONE ELSE OWN A 2019 Entegra Vision 26X? Please contact me if you are experiencing the same issue?
  8. RV Lifts of America 2014 model. This a BIG and HEAVY lift! It has an electric winch that lifts the motorcycle into the locking storage position. The reason I selected this model vs. a hydraulic unit was because the hydraulic unit blocked the engine access door on my Class A. Sold the Class A, new owner didn't want this feature. This lift is designed for a full size motorcycle and includes the 'appendage' for a sidecar. Can be modified to haul a trike. All my photos are too large to post so send me your email or phone. I live in the Tampa bay area. Asking $3200. Unit is in very good condition. I leave for Alaska May 1st.
  9. 2011 Itasca Sunova 33C for sale. New tires. Solar, inverter and extra batteries. New smart TV. Elec awning. Color backup camera. Side cameras $57,500 (NADA $62,000) Downsizing. Would consider trade for small Class B, B+ or C Located in Mesa, AZ. Call if interested, 918-822-3096 More pictures available
  10. Hi, we are thinking of downsizing from a 5th wheel to a short Class A or Class C. I was wondering do people actually trade rigs or should we plan on trading at a dealership? We have a 2008 Sunnybrook Titan 33CK-TS in great condition but my husband is physically disabled and is no longer comfortable setting up the rig. We no longer full time and rent a home. We would still like to travel and think a small motorhome would be perfect. Any opinions or thoughts? Has anyone gone through this dilemma?
  11. Planning a trip from CA into Utah this fall. Inquiring about the condition of Hwy 50.
  12. Recently I saw the question posted on facebook, "Can I install a household shower head in an RV" The answer of course is yes. they both use standard pipe fittings as well as the faucets in the kitchen and bathroom. I decided to get a shower head that is not labeled for RV use and see what happens. I was completely underwhelmed, it was just like I had put the factory shower head back on. So now I'm back in the comfort of my oxygenics. Check it out if you have some time!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXr6jFOMVVk

  15. So, my dad is selling his motor home. It's a 2000 Winnebago Adventurer, 32 foot, with a living room slide out, Class A, Gasoline, with approx 110,000 miles on it. It is currently at a storage facility in Georgetown, TX. If you are interested in looking at it or purchasing it, please email my dad at ayers.bob@gmail.com, or me at jayers@prismnet.com He has taken meticulous care of it when he was using it, but has not used it in a few years, and at 87, is just not able to keep driving it. He just put a brand new battery in it, and it runs fine, just needs an inspection. It's in pretty good shape, but here is the disclosure list from him: -Exterior body damage to left rear ( I looked, it's a small, cosmetic thing, but pics to come) -Tires may/may not need replacement because of age/dry-rot -Roof needs refinishing and caulking around all items (not leaking, just a regular maintenance issue for it's age) -Windshield and all windows need re-caulking/sealant (same thing: no leaks, just maintenance) -Coach A/C cooling questionable -Annual safety inspection due and may show additional problems He's kept it at a storage facility, under a roof, since he hasn't been using it, and I went and cleaned it out, but left all the bed linens, and tools/extra parts specific to it's maintenance for the next owner. It looks great, but the carpets could use a shampoo...no visible stains, just regular dirt from foot traffic. Other than a rug shampoo, it's super clean, especially considering it's age. Can send more pics if you contact one of us. We are looking to get $12K, OBO

  17. Hi all. I've been reading on this forum quite a bit and love how active it is. I was hoping all you experienced RVers could give my husband and me some guidance on what rig to buy. Here's our plan: We want to travel the country for at least one year with our (now) 2 year old. We are open to the idea of buying a Class C or Class A, but here are our main criteria: 1. NEEDS to have a sleeping solution for our toddler that we don't have to set up everyday (leaning towards Class C because it's more common to find bunks in those). We're also open in remodeling a closet or other space into a bunk if that's a viable option. 2. USED and under 40k, we don't mind doing cosmetic remodeling. 3. Max length 32, preferably 30' 4. CCC of at least around 2,000lbs (We found a Bigfoot that we REALLY liked, but turns out the CCC is only 455lbs) 5. double sink (or is that something that can be installed afterwards in any rig?) 6. good insulation as we plan to take it up North (but not in the midst of winter, so expecting no colder than 20 degrees at night) 7. Car seat safety - needs to have a dinette or seating that can accommodate a car seat rear-facing 8. Some counter space would be nice since we'll be cooking a lot 9. Reliability. We've been saving for this trip for quite a while and don't want to spend too much time in repair shops or broken down 10. Tow rating - needs to be able to pull a dinghy (make and model TBD after we purchase the rig) I'm hoping you can give us some guidance on any or all of the items we need! Please let us know what you think what brands/models to look for and which ones to avoid! Also, I'm not sure what age is "too old" for a used unit that we need to Thank you and happy travels!
  18. Here's a link to our RV Trader listing: https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/2006-Damon-INTRUDER-373-5001923426 This has been a great coach and we put a lot into it - I hope that is evident in the listing! We want to downsize to a 30-footer. Happy to answer any questions. This is a great full-time setup.
  19. Anyone else using Verizon Unlimited and liking it? Yeah it's not truly unlimited in every way, but it still is a home internet replacement for me without issue. I made this video in my apartment, but I am weekender currently when it comes to RVing, and am out every weekend primarily at the same campground, but out to different parts of the country around me regularly.
  20. We are currently waiting to buy our first motor home,,a 1996 Georgie Boy Swinger that up until a month ago has been garage kept.. My Wife and I have never RV'ed before..I am retired US Navy Submarine service and she is still working as a cashier at a local grocery store..I am hoping to shorten her schedule as soon as I can,, I am receiving a estate settlement this week and plan to make the purchase,,any and all advice is greatly appreciated,,I have shopped and looked now for about 9 months and am ready to buy..Any pointers on beginning the life I really want to get..
  21. Here is a quick tip for winterizing that RV fridge if you have the same handles I do https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJ-1YfREYj4
  22. I recently installed two Battle Born lithium batteries and an Ames 2000 watt inverter charger into my travel trailer. Here is how it looks all finished up minus the parallel cables for the two batteries, Here is my real world usage for those batteries anybody else using these batteries, I am a big fan. I will no longer carry a generator 2-4 day boondocking trips.
  23. Temperatures are getting chilly overnight, I have a tip for those of us without heat pumps. This allows me to use electric heat and or catalytic heaters that sip propane to warm the entire coach.
