  5. Be aware of where and how you hook up the 12v line. In it's original configuration there should be some kind of isolation device that turns off the power on the line when the engine is not charging to prevent the house battery system from discharging the engine battery and leaving you stranded.

  7. Can't say that I know first hand as I am not quite that old, but I can see that rv camping has come a long way from what it once was. When it was warm, everyone sat outside or took a walk around the park to see whats new. Much more sociable and connected with each other in person I would say. Then came air conditioning and it's been all down hill since then.
  8. I believe that heat is the biggest killer of these things. I try to run the fan after the baking until it cools down.
  9. Any front wheel drive car can be towed with a dolly. doesnt matter if standard or auto.
  10. Wondering if there is any difference in Tire Pressure Sensor battery life between leaving the sensors installed and taking them off when sitting for 6 mo?
  11. Google is your friend. As is https://campgrounds.rvlife.com/
  12. If you are getting 12.99V on shore power, why do you think the inverter charger is not working? I would put a good DC load on the system when on shore power with the solar system off line to see what you get then. You could also turn off the inverter charger and see what you get then.
  13. You will, however, need to be in SD to get your Drivers licenses.
  14. I have been considering this product as well. Most filters work great when new, I wonder how long the positive affects will last on this one.
  15. Let it be known far and wide that a traction control fault will keep the trailer brakes from working with the brake peddle. (On my truck) They will still work manually. The brake controller acts like its not getting a signal that the truck is moving. Now we know.
  16. I think what you plan to do will work fine. Just be sure to have the on board tank tuned off.
  17. Since the RV was in the street, I tend to think that it was not an electric heater. Perhaps some kind of liquid fuel heater??
