Had a lot of rain at deer run since Thursday almost everyone who came to camp for the weekend was gone by sat morning. We got no storms just rain and a lot. Wvlt said crossville had 3.3 but people in the campground said they heard over 9 inches. No storm damage of any kind.

We just traveled from Florida to Tennessee and stayed in bass pro,rural king and Walmart parking lots . We did find Home Depot that would allow it. We use the all stays app a lot to find places. We went 5 consecutive days during that time. Having large tanks and solar and lithium batteries made it easy. Spent 8out of 11 days in parking lots

We are in Tennessee now. We changed our plans and headed out of illinois dec 28 and down to Mississippi for a month then Alabama then a month and a half in Florida about a week in Georgia got a trailer alignment done now in Tennessee at deer run in crossville for the hdt rally next month then back to Illinois for a couple weeks. Probably try Arizona next winter

Thanks to all the great people at sumpter oaks rv park. Really nice people and made us feel welcomed. We went to a flag retiring ceremony at the bon fire Friday night, never been to one before but a great experience.

We are at the escapees park in Florida for a couple of days. Came down to get truck and trailer weighed using the smart weight service they have. It was very informative to get each tire weight for air pressure amounts for each. Found out we are under weight by at least 1000 lbs for each of 3 axles. So plenty of room for generator and diesel fuel. Nice spacious park and very friendly people.

I worked at a coal fired power plant and it takes a lot more that ten minutes to fire one up if nothing goes wrong. The boiler has temps and times it has to go through as well as the turbine at different speeds. You don’t just flip the switch and it starts. Turning them off and on and changing loads on a turbine and a boiler are not good for it. They need to run not be shut off and brought back on over and over

Why would the rate in Texas go up? We have been in Florida for over a month and hardly anybody wears masks anywhere and no spike. We wear them in the grocery stores and most of the time we are the only ones. I had my trump mask on today in the store and was the only one besides my wife including the workers that had one on. When is the moderator going to close this one like they did about people jumping out of the plane

We watched news in the beginning but soon stopped watching everyday. We were told there would be used mask receptacles everywhere and no evictions for anybody. Then the governor shut the state parks on a Sunday afternoon and we were “evicted “ and were paying to stay. But people who were getting everything for free could stay in a government house and then get more unemployment. Doesn’t make sense but better stop before i say to much.

We will be leaving from forest city Iowa on June 4-5.

We have been in our rv since this whole thing started. We were in a state park in March in Illinois with 2 hosts. The “great” ruler in Illinois shut all the state parks, hiking trails, lakes for fishing. We had to leave and find a private park where we were crammed in on top of each other. We did the mask and stay away from people thing like “they” said. We left Illinois and went to Kansas in June and it was a different world there no masks and everything was open and not near the infection rate as Illinois. Then the mask signs started showing up in July we did wear them in stores but not in campgrounds or outside. We spent 5 1/2 months in Kansas not in the big cities but around people stores open restaurants open. We went to a Texas Roadhouse for the first time ever. Had to make a reservation, wait in the car until they called you, wear mask to the table then take it off. The place was packed no blocked off seating and over a hundred people in there with no masks all eating and taking and never heard about a big outbreak in the area( and I’m sure they did this every night). Didn’t have the food shortage anywhere like Illinois had. Been to Mississippi, Alabama and now Florida. People outside everywhere campgrounds full. Closing everything down last year and telling everybody to stay inside seems like the worst thing that was done. Fresh air does not seem to be a big spreader here. The covid slowed us down a little at first but after sorting out the news and the numbers that our state was giving out that didn’t add up and seeing where the problem city was we continued on with our plan for the year. And no longer call that state home.

We put some more miles on the bike yesterday and no problems at all. The batteries hold a charge very well and the front/rear disc brakes work good.

Here’s an update on the ebikes. We received our Lectric XP bike yesterday, took 12 days from the time of order, I’m sure the ice in Texas slowed it a little it came from Arizona. Box was a little beat up bu the bike was in perfect shape I thought. I unpacked it and got it together and had it sitting outside the trailer. When Freda got done with here nap and came out to see it she said I thought we ordered white. This one was black. We wouldn’t have time to send back and get another one because we’re leaving to head farther down in Florida next week. She called and they apologized and offered a 50.00 credit and are going to send us a suspension seat post for it. So that worked. There customer service is fast and friendly and not a call center in India. The bike is solid came charged and ready to ride, easy to figure out the controls and it feels like the 500 watt motor is plenty. We put a few miles on it yesterday small hills and flats and on pedal assist 1 is plenty. Seams like a very well built bike heavier than the Giant hybrid bike it will replace. Has a lcd screen that about an iPhone 6 size. Taking it to st Andrew state park in Panama City today. So far I would buy this brand again if we decide to get another one. Will update on the ride today

Try to tarp around the valve and tank and put a small ceramic heater under it on low. We did this on a water hydrant last year when it was around 10 f It worked for that.

Looks great and that was fast work. big savings too. Really like the double Weather stripping on the doors.

We just ordered an ebike. Look up lectricebike.com did a lot of research and for the price is the best I’ve found. Waiting on shipment now

Not going to complain. It’s 46 in bonifay Florida cloudy but it finally stopped raining
