  1. Thanks all for your input. Your collective thoughts generally line up with ours. The extended warranty does cover the chassis, so that’s a positive. Another question: for an RV that has lived its life in the northern states, would you expect to see rust on the undercarriage? If so, at what point would you become concerned?
  2. Hi all! It’s been a while since I’ve visited the forums. We are looking to purchase a used late model DP. This Fleetwood Excursion 35E is the unit we’re considering. https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/2016-Fleetwood-EXCURSION+35E-5007078431 We have learned that the coach has been stored outside in Michigan during the winters. It has been winterized properly, as far as we can tell. We have had a fifth wheel in the past but never had to winterize, etc. so we are lacking in first-hand experience. Would the fact that the coach has been stored outside give you pause before purchasing? It does have two years of transferrable warranty left, so would that mitigate any of your concerns? Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
  3. Joezilla, just added some picture of the truck interior to the website. I was waiting to get it detailed! Alie&Jim, not sure why the link doesn't work for you? It works on my end, and I assume it worked for the previous poster. We also created an RVTrader listing, so maybe you can check it out there. Thanks for letting me know there might be a problem! http://www.rvtrader.com/listing/-5000003092
  4. Hi! The time has come for us to sell our rig, so we wanted to share the details here. We're selling our Augusta Luxe 42MD and our Freightliner M2 truck. It's a gorgeous mid-den fifth wheel, 43' long, with beautiful white modern interior. We are sad to say goodbye, but we are excited to transition to a slightly less nomadic lifestyle! $120K for each or $220K for the whole package. You can find all the details on the truck and trailer here: https://fulltimerigforsaleblog.wordpress.com or http://www.rvtrader.com/listing/-5000003092 This is the perfect setup for fulltiming, with room to spare for your grandkids or hobby space. Thanks for looking!
  5. I'd like more pics as well, if still available. What kind of grade slow down are we talking about, btw, cause I agree with you and the factory. This rig shouldn't have a problem with what you (we) use it for as a 5th wheel hauler, and as such shouldn't have trouble with anything but the steepest of grades. I'll be spending most of my time out west, and am looking to maintain the speed limit, which I would think an HDT should have no trouble with only pulling a 5th wheel, even with a car on the bed.
