  1. Still available - willing to negotiate. Just put the sofa bed back in today and the ugly green recliner is GONE. Lenp
  2. We have lost two pharmacies here in the small town of Madras, OR. First it was an employee owned chain (Bi-Mart) and then a privately owned drug store. All in the last two years and both due to low re-imbursement rates. Lenp
  3. From Winnemucca to the Fallon (95) turn off it is pretty flat country. Lenp
  4. Deezl, I live over the hill from you in Madras. My preferred route south is US 20 east to Burns then OR 78 to US95 to Winnemucca followed by I80 SW to US95 again. Then all the way on 95. Very mild pulls after your over the Cascades. Lenp
  5. Previous MDT owner (2003 International 4400). I would NOT buy another. HDT only (if looking at another truck). More horsepower/torque and much more comfortable ride. Most states allow registering HDTs as a motorhome potentially reducing registration/license/insurance costs. I do not believe California has any restrictions on motorhomes regarding emissions - another plus to registering HDT as a motorhome. Lenp
  6. Agree with above comments but must add DO NOT plug that 30 amp plug into or try to connect to a dryer outlet - dryers are 240 volt and your RV is only 120 volt. The plugs look very much the same.
  7. I sometimes vacillate over selling or not selling but we are just not using it enough to justify keeping it and maintaining it. It has served us well for over ten years now. Thanks for validating my asking price Ray! Lenp
  8. Bump. Still available. Will consider offers and trade/partial trade for 3/4 or 1 ton p/u
  9. No wire nuts or tape on the bare ends???? Shorted out and blew the fuse? Lenp
  10. We have lost the travel bug and no longer use this coach as it should be used. It has served us well for the last ten years we have owned it with several snow bird trips to the Gulf Coast and various local trips. J.D. Powers Low Retail is $45,000 92,000 on the clock. 750 watts of solar on the roof with MPPT controller. 11. if someone wants in they will find a way regardless of what lock you have. Windows are easy to break! Locks (regardless of how good they are) keep honest people out - thieves will find a way. Lenp
  12. Have you researched the Winnebago site for wiring diagrams for this rig? My MH has several pages of wiring diagrams. https://www.winnebago.com/Files/Files/Winnebago/Resources/Diagram/Wiring.htm Lenp
  13. Very happy with Escapees RA program. Used it twice in two days las year with no issues. Lenp
  14. Second the FedEx or UPS. We quit using USPS for our mail the way back in 2001! It was horrible then and has only gotten worse. Lenp
  15. Been a few years but Yuma Proving Grounds has a nice FamCamp with a pretty good sized overflow for dry camping. There were a lot of long term (6 months) rentals then and getting into the full hookup in the peak of winter snowbird season could be a challenge. Here is a link to the Arizona military recreation facilities: https://www.militarycampgrounds.us/arizona Lenp
  16. Make sure your pump isn't burping occasionally - a sign there is a slow drip someplace or the check valve in the pump is leaking. If it is burping, it is using some battery power but not a lot. Lenp

    ZIP TIES

Same on my Harley. Even double sided (3M?) tape holding the grill over the radiators. Lenp
  18. I joined Escapees back in 1999 when we first started full timing. Didn't join the forum until 2006. Scan the unread content nearly every day. Have learned a LOT from this group. Ran with an MTD for ten years and this HDT forum was VERY useful! Will miss most of May due to participation in RFTW XXXIII - an 8200 mile ride on the Harley. Cory, you are spot on regarding participation decline. However, compared to FB, the educational value of the Escapee forum is one heck of lot better - so much knowledge here! I don't respond much unless I feel I truly have something worth sharing. I recently got into laser engraving and CNC woodworking (hobby) and have found a couple of FB groups very helpful but the number of total jerks on there is certainly discouraging. Cory, keep us posted on the progress on your ride.... Lenp
  19. Both 5G and LTE were active at Grand Isle. I would have thought the phone would have selected the best of the two also. When I could not get any service I contacted Verizon and was advised to just turn OFF 5G. Initially, I had re-booted the phone and it would work for a few hours but then after a few minutes (or sometimes hours) the bars would disappear and I had no service (incoming or outgoing). Only way to make a call was via internet which, surprise, surprise was also Verizon via their Internet Gateway device which is also a 5G/LTE. The latter worked flawlessly but I don't remember if it was using 5G or not.
  20. I upgraded my iPhone last fall to a 5G capable unit. Made a trip from Central Oregon to Louisiana and back. Only time I had 5G was in Grand Isle, LA and it caused problems for the phone. Couldn't call in or out without disabling 5G and using LTE only. I do have Verizon. As noted above, 5G for us travelers is a ways out yet. Lenp
