  1. Thank you, I believe that the Trailblazer will be quite a bit undersized for the 2500 HD. This truck weighs over 5000 pounds.
  2. I know that this is a long shot but does anyone have a usable Blue Ox BX1633 base plate? Among others, it fits a 2001 Chevy 2500 HD.
  3. A Private Message has been sent to you, answering all of your questions (I think), if you have more, I believe that PM is the proper way to handle them. Butch
  4. I still have, one of the old unlimited plans. I bought and did the AOL, when we thought that we would be going full time, but have since decided against that. Verizon service, is almost non-existent, at our home and it doesn't make much sense, to pay for it year round when we only use it 4 to 7 months. Are these plans, still transferable in any way? Or are people even still using them, with all of the new offerings and plans out there. Butch I posted this on another thread, then thought better of it, because I thought that I should start a new post. I couldn't delete the reply. Sorry.

  6. That should work fine as long as you don't reduce the pedal travel too much.
  7. Thanks Stan, the driver's (near) side retainer, is part of the "finish work". They are up against the forward bulkhead, so there os no movement that way and the passenger (far) side, has a 1 foot or so high, wall, bolted to some 2 X 6 boards. Butch
  8. Here is our new battery bank. It still needs a bit of "finish" work, but it's in and functional. 830 AH @ 24 volts, total capacity. Two disconnects on the back wall, one for the 24 volt system, one for the 12 volt system and Vanner equalizer (mounted on the ceiling) to keep the banks equalized. Butch
  9. Thanks again, to one and all. For those of you that see no need in cleaning the spigot, that's fine by me, especially if your experience proves it to be unnecessary. I will not be the one to argue and try to convince you otherwise. I now have enough information to proceed in the manner that I prefer.
  10. The "Crown Royal" is for AFTER you get sick. It helps make you forget about it, maybe even look forward to it again! :-) I was thinking more along the lines of Air Brake antifreeze.
  11. I am familiar with the corrosive nature of bleach, even to stainless steel. That's why I was looking for dilution rates. I was not aware of the short self life of the mixture though. I've seen too many photos and videos as well as a few personal observations of what people do with spigots and sewer hoses, to not have some concerns about it. Maybe alcohol would be a better solution.
  12. What percentage bleach to water, do you folks use, to disinfect and sanitize the water spigots before hooking your hose to fill your tanks? Thanks in advance, Butch
  13. Thanks Kirk, the General Manager told us, that thru all the years, they've never run into a problem. The current people, have been working there for 7 years, they're from out of state and have had no problems either. The reason the position is open, he's 73 and wants to "retire again", for good this time. But they will be coming back to the park, again next year. To train and assist, on a more limited basis. Thanks again for all of the input, Butch
  14. The tax issue, is no problem for us. Since AZ doesn't tax SS benefits, our only taxable income would be from the Workamp position, which is minimal. It was the drivers license/vehicle registration that had me concerned, but we've worked out the arrival date with the employer, to make it less than a full 7 months. Thanks to all, Butch
