Just wondering how to get vehicles inspected in order to register them when we will not be in the state at that time?
I believe I read that Texas is doing away with inspections in 2025. Is that true
Thanks

There are valid reasons the present administration banned tictok from gov. issued devices.
It was the previous administration that banned tictok.

There are 3 grey tanks. Your forgetting about the laundry tank. I have the same unit. 118 gallons of grey.
We have a 60 gallon bladder in the truck for more fresh water.
You can draw water from the bladder using the installed water pump.

To y'all too.
Attending the dinner in Livingston today.

That should work. I use a blackstone grill and my dual fuel generator with my hose connection.

Make sure you dont have another pressure regulator between your appliance and the rv connection. Pressure is already reduced coming out of the rv propane tanks.

Hey Kirk,
Doing good. Became TX residents in June. Picked up our drivers licenses, registrations, voting registrations and LTC's while there in July. Only thing that was a surprise was that all of your vehicles must be present on the initial registration and all, including the trailer must be inspected before they will register them. We were told that our car didn't need to be present. We have taken care of that since we decided last minute to bring it with us.
We hung out in Sumerdale AL most of the summer. Will be headed back to Livingston the last 2 weeks of November before wintering in the RGV.
Again, thanks for all your help.
Mark and Kim.

Cmon guys, no one can recommend where an SKPs member can get their motorhome inspected in Livingston?
I haven't been to Livingston since 1998 so have no current info.
??
Just call the campground office. They will help you out.
Was just there a month ago.
There are several places near by.

You are not missing anything by not using this benefit.
Not what it use to be.
Very expensive now. No savings at all.

How much is the electric in your situation?

Thank you so much Kirk.
You've been a big help.

Hey guys, been around for awhile.
Headed out of Cape Cod MA, to start our fulltime adventure starting in June. We plan on becoming TX residents in July.
Just had a couple of questions. We are Escapees members 175454.
Do we need to make reservations in Livingston TX for an RV site prior to heading down there?
Is it usually very busy or hard to get there any time of the year?
I have read about the process of getting swapped over when I do get there from reading it on the club website.
Mainly looking on how to get the process started.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark Reynolds

With "RV" on this one.
Fill tank and use house pump.

Good point about the "no contract".

We want no more of the climate in the Southern states. We prefer cold to heat anyway. You can always put on more clothes. And we have a backup fireplace we rarely use.
I'm a 180 on that boss.
