  1. I use AVG on my Personal PCs, the free version. I use AVG business edition on the 'work' PCs and server. I can't count the number of times I have had to uninstall Norton or McAfee to "fix" a PC. I usually follow the uninstall up with a install of AVG. It uses very little system resources, and It catches some things the other two never did (mostly spamware-related junk).
  2. Thanks for the heads up. I guess it's up to me to decide if I want to worry about over-length in a legal sense. A 52' rig might be pushing it a bit, but if I can keep it down to the length of a prevost 45'er I should be ok. Anyone here hauling a large enclosed trailer full time or mostly full time behind a long rig? Jess
  3. How many people have been pulled over for having 40+' motor homes? I assumed that at least 45' would be acceptable across the US. My fault for assuming I guess. Every motor home I have looked at, Class 8 conversion of just Class A has been over 40' per the specifications.
  4. Hello all. My wife and I are seriously considering a powerhouse coach as our full-time rig. 52' seems long, does anyone have experience driving a rig that size? I assume by the wheelbase it drives like a cross-country bus, but just want to be sure. For me, a class 8 frame is perfect for the longevity and sheer power we want. We also plan on pulling a enclosed trailer with the Camry, his & Hers Ultra-classics, atv(s) and assorted stuff. I could probably get away with a 45' class A, but I want some longevity, and always believed in overbuilding something, than ending up real close to or under-built Any information anyone can give would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jess & Christine
