  1. Does anyone have a great app for showing the bandwidth on my phone? I went to the App Store but there are so many and I was hoping that someone could recommend one. I want to check the bandwidth on my phone before I order a Wi-Fi booster to make sure I get one that is compatible. I am totally clueless about these things but want to increase my internet. I have Verizon phone service and IPhone 6plus. 
    I would appreciate any help anyone could give.

    The Playmaker is an automatic satellite antenna. It requires specific Dish receivers and a subscription to supply service to your TV.

    Thank you Dutch! I was a bit confused and looking for Dish TV. 😊 

    I’m wondering about the ease of setting up and if people are happy with this satellite dish.

It's about halfway between the 24' and the 35' Winnebagos (Itasca is a Winnebago brand) we owned and both worked well. Our 35' one had three slides. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this rig if I was in the market for a gas Class A.

You are wise to consider the weights and also look at the weight distribution. Our gas powered class A was driver side heavy and so I had to load all or our heaviest possessions to the passenger side for good handling. If the coach you are looking at does not have weight information you need to get it before you put any money down. It is good to take one through a truck scale to at least have accurate axle and total weights to compare to the gross weight(GVWR).

    Thank you Kirk. The weight is a problem. The RV is a Itasca 27 Sunstar but it might be 28 ft.

  7. I currently have a class C motorhome, but I am looking at a class a 27 foot Class A gas RV with three slides. I’m worried about all of the extra weight on such a short motorhome. Has any one bought one of these motorhomes? If so how is traveling with the extra weight?

    An auto parts store should have what you need. I just looked and O'Reilly  shows as having them and being in Casa Grande. There are probably others who would have them.  Once you get one to fit your light harness, the lights will show what is there and what isn't.

    I had an RV mobile person come out to check the lights on the RV and the car. It turned out to be a blown fuse in the RV. $100 and a five dollar fuse fix the problem. I am up and running again. Thanks to everyone who gave me suggestions.

     

    I have a 2010 Coachman Freelander with a Ford e450. The problem that I am having is that once I plug the power cord from the RV to the car then the lights on the car stopped working. I took the cord into an RV place today and they checked it and they said the cord was fine.  The RV place here in Casagrande could not get me and to look at the vehicles until late November. Does anyone have a suggestion on what would cause the lights in the toad not to come on once it’s plugged in to the RV?

    Watch the oncoming traffic carefully as people tend to pass when they shouldn't. We keep our headlights on the entire length since people are such idiots. Been many head-ons on that stretch of highway. A lot of it has been replaced now by 4 lane separated highway which helps.

    We travel Hwy 93 several times a year towing our fifth wheel.  It is good road, and yes there are some long grades to negotiate, but just take your time.  Do not be intimidated by traffic following you, just pull off only when safe.  Even if you were going 80 MPH, there would still be people wanting to go faster.  Make sure you understand the signs when going around the traffic circles in Wickenburg, as they can be confusing if you are not familiar with which road you need to take, as hwy 93 ends and you will be on Hwy 60 east, even though you will think you are going south.

  14.  I’m going to be traveling from Las Vegas Nevada down to Casa Grande. I’m wondering if anybody could tell me what Highway 93 is like all the way to Wickenburg. Windy, hilly, traffic etc. I have a 27 foot class C and I tow a car behind it. Thanks in advance for any information you can give me.
