Time to purchase new trailer tires for my horse trailer.
I currently have Goodyear g614 14ply and have been good but my local Kal tire does not deal with Goodyear. Looking for opinions on the Carlise Radial Trail HD. My concern is the Goodyear is 110 psi and the Carlise is 95psi. Also the Goodyear are more than twice the price. Had Crossfire on before and did not like the damage the blowout did after 2 years of use.
Camping at Wickenburg with 2 horses. We where in the BLM but moved closer to town at the Rodeo camp grounds as the weather was supposed to get bad with a storm and lots of rain. Did not want to get trapped and stuck out there.
Will be in Goldfield tomorrow (saturday) just north of Apache Junction. We have our neighbours in tow that saw our rig and decided to build up a 98 Freight Liner with a smart car as well. We ride the horses most days but are back in the early afternoon, stop by and say hi.
Staying in Goldfield just North of Apache Junction for a few weeks then off to ???? with the horses.
Anyone in the area welcome to stop by and say hi.

The picture of the rig was shot with my GoPro Hero 2 camera on wide angle. There are a lot more photos here on the blog

We are currently in Tombstone AZ , The smart car sure gets a lot of attention, especially when we cram a 3rd person in the back
Here is a sunset shot of our Western Star and a friends Peter built in Apache Junction.
The horses get new scenery every time we move. We use a portable shock fence that works well, the horses respect the fence unless something spooks them badly. So far we have only twice had to fetch the horses back. I am looking to get some metal stall panels so I feel comfortable with going into town and leaving then unattended.
Just about to graduate, the house deal locks in by Friday and possession is in 2.5 weeks. Have not purchased another property yet so we will go full time for awhile and travel with our 2 horses, 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 people and the new to us HDT.
I had the truck singled in Abdotsford BC Canada. Cost was $1500 and they keep all the extra parts and the hitch. I was going to do it myself but did not have the lift equipment and then did not have to get rid of the parts. Company name is KDM. They are also building my hitch and deck.
