  1. Photos, price and location will help to generate interest. Ken
  2. Ignore the dry weight in the brochures. Work form GVWR that is on the sticker on the front left corner of the 5er. For estimating loaded pin weight of the trailer, use 22% of the GVWR, although it can run higher. We were at 23%. You might do much better looking at higher end 5ers that are 3 to 5 years old. It will save you a lot on depreciation. These RV depreciate like a rock the first year. Ken
  3. In the south, you will want three 15,000 BTUH A/C units on a 40 foot plus RV. Summer heat is a killer on these poorly insulated RVs. Now you can step up the game to a better insulated RV, but you cost just doubled. Ken
  4. Got my flu and COVID shots on Monday and felt a little off on Tuesday. Tylenol fixed it up. My wife got hers Wednesday and she felt horrible on Thursday. First time the shots have made her feel bad. I got RSV a month ago and the GP told me to wait 3 months for the RSV booster. Ken
  5. So many falls short on most of these traits. And somehow, they are mostly politicians. Ken
  6. Family Doc recommend waiting 3 months before getting the RSV shot as I will have some natural immunity, but it will fade. But do get the shot later. Ken
  7. We were ready to get our RSV vaccine and I came down with what appeared to be a cold. Looks like from the symptoms, I had a mild case of RSV. Two days later my wife came down with the same thing. After two weeks we are doing good, but we are at week 3 and still coughing up some gunk. Luckily, we both had mild cases and little effect on our oxygen level. So get your RSV vaccination as well as flu and COVID. Ken
  8. I make a copy of both sides of the title to provide to the buyer so that he can see the RV does not have a lien. If there is a lien, I let the bank handle it. You might also be able to get a local dealer to handle all of the paperwork for a fee. Ken
  9. RV, there you go trying to confuse the anti-vaccine and anti-mask folks with science. You should know that these folks do not believe in science. Love your analogy. Ken
  10. We looked at streaming and to get the programs we want you have to go across multiple packages and it winds up costing the same or more than Dish. I'll just stick to my DIsh, thank you. Ken
  11. The article is giving awareness that COVID is on the rise again. People of intelligence will follow the science and get their vaccinations and wear masks when in public crowds. Even if the vaccine is only 80% effective, it improves your odds on not getting COVID. I just avoid anti-vac and anti-mask folks. Ken
  12. I do not think that the Hopper will work on any portable antenna. Ken
  13. I check it daily and have seen a very definite downturn in post. Most of the post seem to be in the HDT forum. Even RV is posting less. I have also noted a downturn in the posting on RV.net, iRV@.net is still functioning pretty well. It seems more and more are going to Facebook and Instagram. Ken
  14. RV, we enjoyed a few months without the mask while shopping and any indoor venue. It was nice, but with the uptick in COVID and now RSV, it is back to the mask. We choose to stay healthy and alive. We had been waiting to have Medicare cover the RSV vaccine, but over a week ago, we both came down with RSV. Luckily, we both had mild cases, but it is stretched out over a week. From the symptoms, we are pretty sure it was RSV as it matched the symptoms. We are both doing better and will get the RSV vaccine in a week or so when we are over this. The first of October we plan to get our COVID booster and flu shots. We know several that subscribe to the COVID anti-vac theories, and they have had COVID more than once. Just stay healthy and enjoy life. Ken
  15. The RVs that "have: internet included really don't. They have something like the Winegard Air 360 which is a poor excuse for an off-air antenna. Then you can buy an additional package to get a WiFi extender or booster. You can also add a SIM card to get mobile carrier. For the best and most reliable internet on the road you need Star Link. Any that are cell-based work in some areas and don't in others. With the cell-based Systems, you can look at T-Mobile 5g Mobile or hot spots from Verizon or AT&T. Ken
  16. Already tried that....I guess there are no serious RVers near Bryan, TX. Ken
  17. No one wants to spend the time picking it up. You should have seen the problems trying to give a working 12 year sold Samsung refrigerator away. I just do not understand people. The stuff is still sitting in the garage along with a Winegard G3 satellite antenna and a Dish 211Z receiver. We had a 2013 HitchHiker Champagne that finally sold. Ken
  18. You are about 7 months too late. Sold my TS3 with new air springs and air lines a while back. Took 4 months to find a buyer. It had the standard rail mount. Ken
  19. Some photos or a link to photos plus a location will help a lot. Ken
  20. Steven@146, on a few occasions while ordering online, I had trouble with the site accepting the Escapees address. I solved the problem by putting my box number in the box or second line as an apartment number. It took that as an acceptable address. Ken
  21. It is best to seek legal advice from an attorney and speak with the lender to see if they will approve of such an exchange. Ken
  22. Jeffrey, maybe you need to look locally for a shelter and cooling center. If you are retired from the military, you might check with the local VFW or DAV to see if they can assist you. Otherwise check with area church Ministry Assistance groups. I am sure that there are many like us that would like to help, but we worked and saved and have money set aside for us and want to be sure it will last for our lifetimes. All we can do is give advice and try to help to supply some labor, but at 76 years old, that also is limited. Ken
