  1. We always stop at Dad's RV. We are only over nighting. Nice place but may be a tad expensive.
  2. No I am not. I'm quite comfortable in the RGV on the golf course. Be in the 70's soon.
  3. Hi Dennis, Glad to hear that you solved the problem without MUCH pain. I would say that you need to stay in warmer temps like us but it is 33 this morning in Edinburg, Tx. The big girl is going no where today and I'm staying inside by the fireplace. No golf for a few days. I hope Quartsite is warmer. Brad
  4. My 180 degree extensions are on the outer duels to make the sensor point out. The connection is easily to reach from the outside to keep tight.
  5. Can't really help with the first question but for the outer tires I added a 180 degree screw on valve stem extension so the valve stem is actually pointing out. I use the cap style sensors and am quite happy with them
  6. I got my spot and think I have completed everything required so far. See Y'all in June. Brad & Jacolyn
  7. Definitely something wrong there. She did not even get dirty.
  8. Found you again Rick. I still think you should have come to the rally and we would have helped. What could possibly have gone wrong with that plan?🤣. We miss you out here. Brad
  9. It is about time to head for the HDT rally. I'm sure we could get some work done for you. Maybe make it a hands on seminar.
  10. Personally I would contact Chad Heiser. He is a police officer in California and he tows with an HDT.
  11. We had Legacy Silver installed yesterday in Wichita. Ordered them 12 weeks ago but they are now here and the wife approves. Life is good.
  12. Welcome. Another place to watch for a HDT is the for sale forum right here on the Escapees.
  13. O rings are easy to change. I generally have to take them out in pieces. That is where a set of dental picks come in handy
  14. Carl I went back to my maintenance log and the only thing it said was adjusted the brake pedal. No mention of any sensors replaced. Mine would actually disengage the Cruise control if we hit a bump. I attributed (how do you like that word) it to the pedal bouncing a bit so it thought I pressed the pedal. I have no idea what they did to adjust it but the baby bungee holding the pedal up corrected the problem until the shop adjusted the pedal.
  15. Mine was doing that and at the most embarrassing times. I started running the coolant level a little higher and the problem stopped. So I'm assuming that the coolant sensor did not like the level I was using. If it really is a bad sensor AND you are sure the coolant level is good you can pull the wire off the sensor and you are on your way.
  16. The time mine was doing this it had to go the the shop for a sensor (think it was a throttle position sensor). Until it was replaced I put a small bungee on the pedal to hold it up a bit. That worked fine.
  17. Don't remember where we stayed but it was just east of the park on highway 9. DO NOT approach Zion on highway 9 from the west because you will be turned back at the entrance to Zion. There is an 11' tunnel in the park (built in the 30's) and you will be back tracking about 80 miles going around on highway 59 to get to the east side. No one told me. You have now been warned.🙂
  18. Sorry to hear about Susan. She needs to just take it easy and rest for awhile.
  19. Looking real good Rick. They make plastic inserts for the license plate screws. I don't think the plastic cares if the screws are metric. 🤑
  20. If you are looking for ideas come to an HDT rally.
  21. It is all done through the stalk like lappir says. I have not done it for a long time. Turn on the key, don't start engine (there are some things you can't do with the engine running) and start scrolling thru you options. When you get into the messages there should be a reset option. Don't remember if it will take all the inactive at once or you have to do them individually.
  22. Those changes are called engineering modifications. A friend of ours would call it alternate plan A, alternate plan B, etc
  23. Go to you tube. Lots of videos about changing. It is not that hard (I did it). Be sure you have a big pipe wrench because as the videos show you will use a razor knife and cut the bag apart and then put a pip wrench on the internals hold the bag to the nut. Really not bad.
  24. Rick apparently you did not know this is a game. You are supposed to fill one side and then see if you can get turned around and back to the pump before the pump shuts off so you don't have to go inside a second time.
