Washoe Lake State Park is actually 15 miles so of Reno and 4 miles north of Carson City. I am the current park host. The rangers would like a park host for the winter. Yes, it gets cold (18) and yes, it can snow. One of the loops of this 49 site park stays open all winter. There would not be many duties. Shopping is close, all the stores & grocery, Wal Mart, Home Depot, Costco, Target, dollar stores, etc. Cel phone & aircard reception is good. There is 30 amp elec & water at the site but you must have a macerator. The waste water must be pumped about 80 ft to the septic line. Some remodeling will be done to the bath house in July, so the distance may be shortened.
