If anyone needs a low cost decent place to stop for 1 day or 6 months, check out the Johnston City IL park. It is a city run park with a lake, boat ramp, walking path around the lake. Decent size sites. Most have water and 30 amp, but they have recently added some 50 amp sites. Dump station, bathrooms, showers, laundry and a small general store that no longer has supplies, but free movies and books. Just return them. Best part is - 50 amp senior discount is only $11 per night. Even if not a senior it's only like $13 per night. Decent place to help reduce costs. The name of the park is Arrowhead Park. It is open year round but limited water in the winter. We stayed a week and will definately stay again when travelling that area.
