My wife, Mernie,and I just joined Escapees. Does the Rose Parade HOP have a limit for the number of rigs? How many people have registered?

Forget the questions we asked yesterday. We signed up for the event this afternoon. It sounds as if it will be a lot of fun. We lived in Southern California for 25 years and never went to the parade because of the traffic. Heavy traffic makes me crazy so Mernie would have murdered me for sure if we had tried. Now we get to ride in a bus and not have to worry about the traffic. We are excited about this trip. We are spending Christmas with our daughter in Culver City so it will be an easy ride to the park.

You won’t be sorry you signed up for the Rose Parade HOP. You will have a great time. It’s one of those things you have to experience, just once in your life. We only have room for 27 rigs this Rose Parade and they are filling up fast. I hope you also signed up to help decorate a float. It’s always fun to see the float you worked on, as it comes down Colorado Street, during the Rose Parade.

We are really looking forward to the Rose Parade Hop. We are on the road now and won't be home until August. We both want to help decorate a float. What do we have to do to sign up. All of our HOP info is at home.

DH and I signed up for the Rose Parade HOP as soon as we got the notice. I am really looking forward to it. This is the only place that I have seen it mentioned that one needs to sign up separately for the float decorating. Please sign me up for that; it is one of the reasons we decided to take this trip this year.

This year's theme is 'Oh, the Places You'll Go!' based on a book written by Dr. Seuss and the Grand Marshal for the parade will be Dr. Jane Goodall.
