Cool.. we'll check it out. Will be interesting to see if they get enough crowd sourced momentum to keep it useful. That's been the biggest problem with these sorts of apps (Rootmetrics, etc) - great technology, but lacking in usable data samples - especially outside major cities.
The carrier maps are more optimistic than reality, but at least they are nationwide - thus why we created our little app,
Coverage? - so us travelers have at least some clue where we're most likely to get a signal when traveling outside popular areas on our various networks.
