I have been so frustrated with trying to clean tiny, tiny spaces in the RV. Two of the worst were the silverware section on the plastic dish drainer and the inside of the toothbrush holder that Camping World sells. I have small hands but those spaces defeated me. I tried sponges, the dishcloth wrapped around a chopstick and an old, used toothbrush but nothing worked. One day I was wandering around Wal-Mart looking for something to help. Kept thinking that a small brush with bristles at the end of the handle. Looked at paintbrushes (too large and soft) a denture brush (bristles are at a right angle to the handles)when it struck me! A stencil brush! It was my ah ha moment. Went over to the craft section, found a package of 5 for a reasonable price and they worked like a charm. Problem solved.

Thanks for the tip! My hands aren't small, so I'm always looking for ideas for nooks & crannies.

We have used paint brushes for decades to clean dust, etc off countertops, wood, etc in our work. We have old soft bristle paint brushes as dust brushes that range in size from our largest at 4" down to the smallest at 1" (for dusting off widow trim for painting). Our brushes are old and well used... and very "fluffy". When buying a brush to use for dusting, pick out a very soft brush with "fluffy" end bristles.

I also like those Swiffer duster things too, but you can't beat a brush for getting into vent grates. Spraying the paint brush with a dust control product like "Endust" or similar dry dusting spray will help capture the dust better. I also use the 4" brushes as mini brooms to sweep up small dry spills.

Maybe they have topless maids in Vegas but no one will ever tell. No such luck here in Lantana, Fl. Getting ready to leave and will have to do my own cleaning after next weeks spiff up. Are you and Alana still hanging out in Sin City? How are the plans for Alaska? Sure wish I could go soon, but it will be several more years till I try it. Keep a good travel log and charge people like me to read about your trip.
