We will be arriving in Kansas City, Mo the first of the week and looking for a decent spot to hang for a couple days while enroute north. All the Army Corp Parks are managed by the local gov and don't open until the 1st of the month.
Any ideas???

I stay at Worlds of Fun Village campground it is real nice plenty of room and well mantained. Close to downtown and the casinos just north of the river right next to I-435 which is real easy access to I-35 North. Rates are $29.95 two nights are $64 with tax right now they go up when the park is open.

ditto on World of Fun. You'll be on a hillside, but the pads you park your rig on are generally level. There's also a Flying J one or two exits south, too. David
