Just wondering.
Since tablets connect to the internet for e-mail, browsing, etc. Are they subject to virus, Mal-ware, etc., attacks like computers?

They could be. But at the moment Android and iOS virus's are rare.

Just FYI just in case you're looking for an anti virus, I use Lookout on both our android tablets.

Tablet OS are little different than normal computers, rarely it can be affected by virus or spams.
