I am posting this here because Springtown RV Park is very close to Wayland's shop.

I just spent the last month at the park after stopping at Wayland's suggestion. I had come to the area to meet Wayland and talk about a project I had.

I ended up having a 12 year old medical issue come up which litterally crippled me and prevented me from driving.

Harvey the manager drove me to the ER in Azle 17 miles away, stayed and waited for me to be released, then drove to the pharmacy and back to my trailer, all without a complaint or charge. Further he took me and a propane tank into Springtown when I needed a fill. He even ensured I had a real Thanksgiving Dinner. He checked on me every few days to see if I needed anything.

I cannot give high enough praise for this park.

The address is 3080 W Hwy 199, Springtown TX. Full hook-ups both 50 and 30 amp, water, and sewer. He offers daily, weekly, and monthly rates which in my estimation are very reasonable.

I am now enroute to Tucson for medical care and to spend the winter. My Brother came out from Tucson to drive my truck w/5ver attached back for me since I am still unable to drive more than 3 or so miles.

Wayland knows everybody in that area, glad to hear you were well taken care of! That dude is cream of the crop! Go Wayland!

I looked at that place. But it sure does not look like it would take my rig. I don't think the covers are high enough, and even if they were, it would preclude use of my Auto TV dish. Things to keep in mind.

Springtown has uncovered spaces too. I used one. I am right about 60ft overall length and 13 ft high. The covers are 15 ft high. Plenty of room for turning and all spots are back in.

Jack,

We've had our rig under two of his covers - I think we are about the same height as you. This is his only "pull-through." If you want to be cheap there is a PA park over in Garner - $10/day. Stayed as long as we wanted to at that rate. 50 Amp full hook-ups. Rough place and the road (if you can call it that) into the place was a wreck. But the kids had a great time playing with the ants and the neighbor's birds.
