Hi all,
Is anyone enrolled in a state high risk health insurance pool while using Escapees or other PMB in other states? Just wondering if anyone has experience and if they needed to get health care out of state how it paid.

Don't use high risk pool insurance but there was period two years back when we were investigating insurance as Dale's COBRA was running out. In South Dakota, the only have to get SD high risk pool insurance is with a physical address (no PMB).

We were ready to set up a physical address when United Health Care came back into the SD market and we could get insurance trough them.

Yes,we had it for my wife in Tx using Escapees address.

I attempted to contact the only people who we know that now use that pool and had no success. I'll do some more digging as I am pretty sure that I know someone else who uses it also and if I learn anything useful, I'll get back to you. You may want to PM Harry also, as he probably could help.

Thanks for the reply. I have checked out the Texas and S.D sites. I would really like to hear from a few who have actually been enrolled and had to use the insurance having a PMB address. I realize the numbers are probably few.

Any chance getting some of those comments posted to this thread? Besides me, I'll bet there are others that are interested in them.
