here in Colorado and probably every where else, you can buy gift cards inside the grocery store, and then go out to the pump and use it to fill your Rig up with the register rewards you get from the purchase of the gift card. So right now if you buy a fuel gift card for 100 bucks you get 4X the register rewards and then go out and get 40 cents off per gallon and fill up your vehicle at a disounted rate. All for buying the gift card inside the store and then going to the pump.

At what store do you get $0.40 / gallon off for use of a gift card? Kroger and their affiliated stores give a purchase of up to 35 gallons at $0.10/gallon for each $100 of purchase.

At King Soopers, (Kroger Affiliate), and Safeway. That is what we have going on out here in Colorado.
The $.40 off would be for buying a $100 gift card and then you get 4x the rewards at the pump. Up to $1.00 off and I believe that is for 30 or 35 gallons.
Hope I explained it right!

I use the Dillons store (Kroger affiliate) and have gotten $1.00 off buying gift cards for Christmas gifts. 35 gallons amounts to $35 saved. At one store they didn't have the 35 gallon limit and I got the savings on the entire 72 gallons. Kewl huh.
