I am selling my 99 Int'l 4700LP. have a DT530 engine w/alison auto trans. I have looked all over the internet and am finding a wide range of prices. Any ideas on where to look to get a reasonable idea of what $$ to expect? Here is a link to some fee based and free resources to narrow down the price of our truck: Semi Truck Blue Book Price Guides How many miles are on it? and what is it outfitted with? Where are you located? will all have an effect on your price. How much time do you want to put into selling it? The lower the price the faster it will sell. If you are replacing the truck trading it in though not necessarily the best deal is convenient. There are a lot more RV Haulers (mdt's AND hdt's) out there now then in 1999 so there will be a lot of competition for the limited buyer pool. If you are going to sell it by owner check out craigslist.org the ads are free and you can upload digital pics of your truck for free. I Googled 1999 International 4700 and found this Youtube video:. Youtube is free and a picture/video is worth a 1000 words when selling. Here is a link to the features on the truck in the video: Truck Features Here is an International Truck listed on Craigs List with a link to a Youtube demo of the truck As the real estate market has toughened many people hire professional stagers to make a house look generic and inviting to potential buyers. You may want to take your truck to a detailer to see what options are available to stage it for sale. Also don't limit yourself to the RV community, equestrian or farm based businesses may be a market to look into to sell your truck. Good luck.... |

Email pics, vin, and complete description to wlong@wccs.net with all info on how to contact you.
You can get alot of opinions on this forum and alot of free advise. I, on the other hand, will make you an actual offer. Or would be happy to tell you what I think it will retail for. I have roughly 2.5 million worth of wholesale MDT/HDT inventory at this moment. Be glad to help you out. FYI, if you do really want to sell the truck, based off of my experience, the old body style stuff will not bring anywhere near what most owners think they are worth. -------------------- Wayland Long

Will a new hood fit the older body style trucks? even with a bit of rimming ? Would be an easy way of looking current with an older truck. I want a LoneStar hood for the RunRunner buy finance director say hell no! -blizz -------------------- 2001 GMC 6500 3126 Cat 6spd long n low, 31' long will creep into a 9' Garage door.
