Well it finally happened.... after 31 years of driving RVs, I was involved in an accident.
Thankfully. no one was hurt. This accident makes me like the MDT I use as a tow vehicle even more. The basic scenario of the accident is, a lady in a Toyota Tercel cut in front of my truck and caught the right front bumper with her driver door. The end of my bumper hooked on her door jamb and her car ended up perpendicular in front of my truck. I pushed her for about 3 feet until I was able to get everything stopped. It was amazing I barely felt her car hit the truck and the only damage was to my bumper, a trim piece plus 5 lug nut covers. The bumper will need to be replaced. The only sensation I felt was the same as when you slam on the brakes. If we had been in the old 1986 chevy 3500, I'm sure the damage to the truck would have been more extensive and the feel of the accident would have been more severe. I was able to complete the trip down to San Diego and get setup for the 4th of July weekend. The Chevy Kodiak is a great tow vehicle, I'm sorry I waited several years before I finally decided to get one. -------------------- 2007 Kodiak Monroe p/u

I'm happy to hear no one was hurt. Was she cited for any infraction? It sure makes the insurance easier when the other driver is cited when they create the accident.

Sorry didn't have the caps on. I chose a bigger font and the bold turned on. The original font like this one just seems too small for my tired old eyes.
Can't upload the photos but you can view them here: http://thebearii.shutterfly.com/ -------------------- 2007 Kodiak Monroe p/u

If you use the standard forum fonts and then let the folks looking at the forum adjust their font sizes it usually works better. In Firefox you just hold the Ctrl key down and spin your mouse wheel or Ctrl + or - if you have a touchpad.

Bear,
You have one of the photo sites that require me to "steal" the pics to post, it is kinda time consuming or else I would post them for you. Stan, Thank you, you taught me how to resize Firefox and I have been using it for years! -------------------- "Advice is when we ask a question we already know the answer to, but wish we didn't."
