Just read about this sites new feature and thought it may be of interest to those looking for jobs in the RV industry:
RV Daily to Start Help Wanted Section There will be no cost to submit "help wanted" or "work wanted" releases to RV Daily Report through Dec. 31. However, the listings must either be offering jobs or seeking work in the RV industry. RV dealers, manufacturers, suppliers and campgrounds are encouraged to submit announcements which will remain active for 90 days, or until Gerber is directed to remove the listing. |

Doesn't look like there's much on their. This website just started in April 09 I just started subscribing a month ago. The daily e-zine has been very interesting and lots of information on the RV industry. The employment section has just started, but for those looking for work, and sadly there are many out there, posting your "job wanted" for free for a couple of months can't hurt. The independent voice of the RV industry RV Daily Report was officially launched on April 1, 2009, by Greg Gerber and a group of investors committed to providing an independent source of news and information for people employed in the RV industry as well as for people who enjoy using RVs. Like Kirk, came up saying page can't be displayed. Sorry bout that, it appears the website is down. Since it is Sunday I give the webmaster the benefit of the doubt that he is resting on the 7th day. May want to try again during the week? (If it comes back up) As I read the article the website's intent was a two way street for those seeking employees AND for employees seeking work. So if you are looking for work you would submit what type of work YOU are looking for. |

I tried to log on to the site. When I went to their home page, I found the following message: QUOTE Happy Halloween!
We are experiencing technical difficulties RV Daily Report has been attacked by gremlins and we are in the process of rebuilding the site. The site will be going up and down throughout the weekend, but we hope to have better functionality and a new appearance for you come Monday morning. GREG GERBER Editor, RV Daily Report. It is getting closer, this was on the link RV Daily Report today:
We are experiencing technical difficulty Trick or treat! Last Friday evening, something snapped in one of our behind-the-scenes databases that caused our website to crash. We have been working throughout the weekend to rebuild it, but still don't have the ability to post news stories. We have teams of expensive technicians working to determine the cause and craft a solution to get us operational as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience. |

The site is back up.
To submit a 300-word help wanted / work wanted announcement, send an e-mail to jobs@rvdailyreport.com. Job announcements are free through Dec. 31 and will remain active for 90 days or until we are instructed to remove them. |
