Well anyone hear anything? Or is it just talk? You could contact the appropriate BLM regional field office and ask them: http://www.blm.gov/az/st/en/info/arizona_offices.html |

Well anyone hear anything? Or is it just talk? The County has no say in use at Craggy Wash. BLM manages the area as part of federal land base. BLM land is open unless posted closed. BLM District manager "can" issue a closure order, but I have no information he has done so. The best answer is for someone to go to Craggy to see if it is posted,,,,or not |

According to this website, including the link to the Federal Register, Craggy Wash area is still open for camping, although some of the rules have changed (like exactly where one can camp).

there is still camping in craggy wash. there is however no camping along the road anymore, you have to go a few miles into the canyon before you get to the approved camping areas. there are several new signs this year making the "no camping" areas very clear.
