Shoot, this appears to be exactly what I'm looking for, and it seems to be a good price as well. Unfortunately, I am still a few years away from buying. I really like the deck! I didn't see any photos of the generator though, is it in one of the storage compartments on the truck? How many miles? Any recent maintenance or repairs? How long have you had it? Does it have a name?

Don

Hi the generator in under the right ferring of the truck... Out of sight... so it won't be so easy to steal. Just turned over to 800K . NO recent maintenance or repairs, Just normal service. It will pull whatever you put on it... We've owned the truck 4 years. My wife, even drove it..with the 5th wheel and liberty jeep behind.. It's called "big john" Where are you located??
Sam Why are you several years away from buying?? Make me an offer...

Hey Sam,

I'm in Phoenix, and I'm still working for the man. I don't actually need an HDT until I retire, which will be as soon as I can (probably within 2 - 3 years), especially if my retirement plan (lottery) hits big this weekend. I only have a 28' travel trailer now, so I couldn't even justify the HDT for anything but fun. Also, Arizona won't let me license the HDT as a motorhome, so I'll have to wait until I can set up a Montana LLC, then only stay in Arizona less than 6 months.

Besides all that, I don't have anywhere to store a big monster like that without having to pay for a storage lot somewhere. My driveway is just long enough for my travel trailer right now.

Make you an offer? The only offer I could make at this point would be a serious low-ball one, which I've always hated having done to me, so I won't do it to someone else. You have a beautiful truck, and it looks well kept and well set up for RV towing. I hope that whoever buys it will appreciate all you've put into it.

Don

P.S. Is that a inversion table on the deck?

Yes it is. Sorry you're not able to purchase this volvo. It is a very good truck.

Sam,
What size are the fuel tanks? Are do you get fuel into the generator? Age and condition of tires? Brake controller?

Sam,

I sent you a PM, then realized you might not have enough posts on this board to access you personal message box yet.

So. . . what is the rear gear ratio on this truck?

On one of your pictures, it looks like there is a rear camera monitor on the dash. Is this correct? If so, how many inputs are are there, and where do you have any camera's mounted? What other "goodies" are still installed in the cab? I assume you removed the pressure pro system for use in your motorhome.

Is the truck in storage now? how accessible is it?

Fuel tanks hold 110 gallons each. There are 2. Generator is behing the fearing panel . You can fill it on top using a hose and funnel. Holds 3 gallons
Tires have 30k on them. Good condition. The brake controller is air over electric. Call me if you want more info. 303 877 1155

Yes, there is a camera monitor on the dash. it has inputs for 2 camers and is mounted on the roof of the truck and back of trailer. Can be moved to focus on hitch. Actually there are 2 camers in the truck now. I built a stool/stand where I could put my laptop and use the Gps on it. It connects right by the drivers seat... Really slick. Also has a porta potty that probably has only been used once!!
I have my truck in Casper WY with my Nephew. It is very accessible, in fact I will be in Casper tomorrow afternoon (8/4/09) and all day on the 5th and would love to show it to you and answer any questions.
