  1. My opinion is that no more miles than you drive is to stay in a pickup. Having driven several million miles in all types of trucks I have to say with my bad back and neck that there is a lot of comfort available in my pickup. Do you have 10 way power seats? if not you need to try them since the adjustment is infinite. I have found that raising the rear portion of the seat bottom and dropping the front edge of the seat allows me to put in a full 1000 miles in a day if needed. In our car I am lucky to go a couple hundred miles comfortably.
  2. Just north of Sebring on rt 27 is Adelaide Shores https://www.adelaideshores.com/ . I think it has most of your requests (no hot tub). We stayed there on 2020 and found it to be a nice park well taken care of.
  3. For me I would take the original route you said, or consider 22 to 476. At Baltimore take the west side of the beltway toward Towson/Timonium and the pick up 95 again on the south side. The other way Kirk has suggested is going to be longer and once you get to Frederick MD on 15 and 270 you are going to hit traffic too although all the areas will depend on time of day and day of week.
  4. We always had 2 litter boxes in the camper (3at home), and would put one in the truck for traveling. I cleaned them every evening, and always took the one to be cleaned outside (in the garage at home), so never a problem with interrupting the cat or vice versa. She would dirty the clean one often as soon as it was replaced.
  5. I never even noticed this post or the "badges" you are referenced. Was the issue resolved?
  6. I have a corded electric from Harbor Freight I got on sale many years ago for $40. It has worked flawlessly including on the road using my generator. I wanted a cordless but was too tight to spend all that for one.
  7. I just got an ARE in the fall since I don't tow a 5er anymore. Very happy with. Leer and ARE are the main cap manufacturers as far as I know and either should work well.
  8. Since 1997 we have been doing between 12000 and 18000 miles until last year when it was only MD to FL and back and so far this year the same. Prior to 1997 it was hit and miss and with the heavy work schedule then sometimes only a few miles.
  9. I always try to find a place to unhook/hook up without blocking the road or anyone else's space. Sometimes it may be a little far but a little exercise won't hurt me.
  10. We have been using windows Defender with good results. On both computers it has stopped threats several times. One of the kids is a system admin and he only uses Defender on all his computers.
  11. I ran mine in the truck bed for many years, both in front of hitch and behind under the 5er. Both ways worked fine and never had any problems.
  12. In Florida you should be able to get weighed in Bushnell at the SKP Park there.
  13. I have met many full timers over the years (45) I have been rving, but I have never had a conversation with a full timer that had that attitude.
  14. I am running 4:10's and Aisin transmission, I highly recommend the Aisin trans,it works great. Best mileage empty is 18.5. 3:73's would work good, but I wouldn't buy anything with the 3:23's.
  15. Yes the Ram has setting for electric or electric over hydraulic, light or heavy, and gain.
