Aggie79-82a
I'm looking for an RV park with a few amenities close to Rowlett, TX. We are going up to visit the grandkids and let them see our motorhome. It will be a first for them and a night out for their parents. Does anyone know of a park with a swimming pool in or fairly close to Rowlett? Internet searches are leaving more questions than answers. Appreciate you responses. 2019 Jayco 5th Wheel 28.5RSTS 2017 Ford F250 Super Duty 6.2L
Kirk W
Plantation Place is a park in Sunnyvale but it has no pool and few amenities. How close do you need to be? You may have to travel some distance to get a good place to take the kids. Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years...... Aggie79-82a
I've checked Sunnyvale and it has "mixed" reviews to put it mildly. It looks like I'm stuck with Lake Lavon or someplace in Terrell, TX for this short trip. Thanks 2019 Jayco 5th Wheel 28.5RSTS 2017 Ford F250 Super Duty 6.2L
2gypsies
Bluebonnet Ridge RV in Terrell gets good reviews and has a pool. It's 28 miles from Rowlett via TX205N. http://www.rvparkreviews.com/regions/texas/terrell Full-timed for 16 YearsTraveled 8 yr in a 2004 Newmar Dutch Star 40' Motorhome and 8 yr in a 33' Travel Supreme 5th Wheel
Aggie79-82a
We stayed at Bluebonnet Ridge. It is really nice. The good reviews are on the spot. Nice pool and nice park personnel. Will stay there again. 2019 Jayco 5th Wheel 28.5RSTS 2017 Ford F250 Super Duty 6.2L
mrschwarz
Check your dates. Any place for RVs near water is closed due to flooding. We tried to get into Plantation place and it's full. We've stayed there before. It's OK. We've been to worse. We're currently in Sanger because it's the only place that had space that was open.
